See differently. Change what's possible.

Create the
Future You Choose

You don’t have to know what’s next. You only have to be willing to see differently.

Whether you’ve chosen change or change has chosen you, you may be asking yourself, “What’s next?”, or wondering how to create a future that feels different from what you’re experiencing today.

Innera Vision Coaching partners with individuals who are open to seeing beyond the limits of their automatic patterns and recognizing that they can choose differently. Together, we’ll cultivate the awareness and clarity that make it possible to intentionally choose who you will be and the future you will create.

Founder Michelle Hearn brings more than 30 years of corporate executive leadership experience to every coaching engagement. She understands the complexities of your world without needing them explained.

Together with Michelle, you’ll uncover the automatic patterns shaping how you relate to your circumstances so you can choose from a place of intention, open new possibilities, and create a future that reflects who you choose to be.

What Clients Experience

I highly recommend Michelle Hearn for anyone in a career transition or job search. She helped me clarify my strengths, position my value effectively, and regain confidence during a significant career shift. Her real-world insight and practical coaching delivered immediate, meaningful results.

Xica Andrews Senior Marketing Leader

Working with Michelle has been invaluable during a pivotal point in my career. She helped me clarify the type of leader I am, recognize how my leadership style is an asset, and define the professional brand I want to build. Her guidance on networking, particularly how to leverage common ground to create meaningful connections, gave me practical strategies I use regularly. Most importantly, she helped me process difficult workplace experiences and reminded me that my value is not defined by one organization's perception of me. Drawing from her own corporate leadership experience, she provides thoughtful, practical advice that goes well beyond theory. I highly recommend her to mid-, senior-, and executive-level professionals looking for an experienced coach who can help them navigate career transitions with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Kim Perdue Executive Leader

I began working with Michelle in November, and the impact has been significant. My vision has transformed in ways I did not anticipate. Before working with her, I had ideas but lacked the clarity and structure to move forward with confidence. She helped me organize my thinking, challenge my own limitations, and develop a clearer picture of what I am building and why. One of the most profound things Michelle has helped me with is honing my essence and learning to make decisions from strength rather than fear. I now make choices rooted in who I truly am. The way I show up, the way I think, and the way I move through both personal and professional spaces have become more authentic and more aligned.

Do Any of These Experiences Feel Familiar?

You don't know what's next.

You know something has to change, but the path forward isn’t clear. You’re trying to make sense of where you are while wondering what comes next. You may be questioning your career, rebuilding after a difficult transition, or simply sensing the life you’ve been living no longer fits.

What if your next step becomes clear only after you begin seeing differently?

Life feels like it's happening to you instead of being created by you.

A difficult job. An unexpected transition. Financial pressure. A relationship that isn’t working. You spend so much energy reacting to what’s in front of you that it becomes difficult to see what choices are still available. The more you react to your circumstances, the harder it becomes to recognize that choice is still available to you.

What if your circumstances don't determine your future, but your relationship to those circumstances does?

You can't see beyond the situation you're in.

Sometimes we become so caught up in a situation that we don’t realize we’re seeing it from one perspective. Over time, that perspective becomes so familiar that it simply feels like the only way to see things.

Without realizing it, you’ve been seeing your situation from that same perspective for so long it’s become difficult to imagine seeing it any other way.

What becomes possible when you begin seeing your situation differently?

The life you're living no longer brings you joy.

From the outside, your life may look successful. Inside, something feels different. The work that once energized you now drains you. You’ve spent years meeting expectations, solving problems, and taking care of everyone around you, yet somewhere along the way you’ve lost the joy, purpose, or fulfillment you once felt.

What if the life you want begins with choosing who you want to be, not simply changing what you do?

Innera Vision Coaching

A Method Focused on Who You Are, Not Only What You Do.

Most coaching focuses on skills, strategy, and action steps. Innera Vision Coaching works at a deeper level using an approach called ontological coaching. The focus is on your way of being; specifically, how the patterns, defenses, and automatic responses developed over time shapes every decision, every relationship, and every opportunity you take or pass.

Autopilot

Most professionals move through their careers on autopilot. It is the automatic way of being built from years of responding to pressure, expectation, and experience. It built your career. It also keeps your responses predictable in ways limiting what is ahead of you.

Survival Mechanism vs. Essence

Your survival mechanism is the persona adopted to cope and protect. It is unconscious and instinctual. It is not who you are. Your Essence is who you are when protection is not running the show. It is the source of your clearest thinking, your most effective leadership,

Probability vs. Possibility

Clients often arrive operating at effect: reacting to their organization, their manager, their circumstances. The work moves them to operating at cause, meaning they become the one driving what comes next.

Instead of waiting for the situation to change, they make choices about how to respond. This is where real momentum starts.

At Cause vs. At Effect

Clients often arrive operating at effect: reacting to their organization, their manager, their circumstances. The work moves them to operating at cause, meaning they become the one driving what comes next. Instead of waiting for the situation to change, they make choices about how to respond. This is where real momentum starts.

The Difference

Founder Michelle Hearn spent more than 30 years building a successful corporate career. It was only after that journey she began to understand it differently. She knows firsthand what it takes to navigate demanding organizations, lead through uncertainty, carry significant responsibility, and continually adapt in environments where expectations are high and the path forward is rarely clear.

As a woman, and as a Black woman, those experiences shaped not only how she led, but how she learned to navigate the world around her.

Through the study and practice of ontological coaching, Michelle came to understand her life, career, and experiences in a totally different way. Looking back, she recognized that many of the ways she had learned to navigate corporate life had become automatic. They had been necessary. Those ways of being helped her succeed in that environment, but they also dictated how she responded to challenges, related to others, and the choices she believed were available to her.

Her experiences and the ontological insights she gained shape the way Michelle coaches today. She partners with clients to notice the patterns they have developed for navigating life and recognize choices that may not have been visible before. Drawing on her coaching, executive leadership experience, and practices helps clients see beyond automatic patterns. She creates a space where clients can see themselves, their circumstances, and what is possible in a different way, allowing them to intentionally choose what comes next.

The Solution

About Michelle Hearn

I know what it feels like to be the person others count on. To lead through uncertainty, make difficult decisions, navigate competing priorities, and carry responsibility that doesn’t end when the workday does.

I also know what it’s like to reach a point where success no longer answers the questions that matter most.

For more than 30 years, I built a corporate career leading global marketing organizations and helping businesses grow through change and complexity. Along the way, I learned that how we navigate our work is often shaped by ways of being we rarely stop to examine. They help us succeed. They also influence how we respond to challenges, how we lead, and what we believe is possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy focuses on healing and mental health, typically working through the past to address present challenges. Consulting means an expert diagnoses a problem and prescribes a solution. Coaching is neither.

With Michelle, the work is forward-facing and collaborative. You bring what you are facing. She brings a methodology, a set of tools, and 30+ years of relevant corporate experience. Together, you develop your own clarity, direction, and capacity to lead from intention rather than habit. You leave with a different way of seeing your situation and a different way of responding to it.

Ontological coaching focuses on your way of being; specifically, the automatic patterns and responses driving your behavior in ways you are not always aware of.

In practice, sessions with Michelle won't focus only on tactics and goals. They focus on who you are being when you face challenges at work, and what opens up when you shift from reacting to choosing. Sessions involve real conversation, structured reflection, and specific work designed to produce a genuine shift in how you see your situation and what you do about it.

Clients frequently report a shift in perspective within the first few sessions. Deeper work, such as developing the habit of operating from Essence consistently rather than falling back on survival patterns, takes sustained engagement. Michelle works with clients for as long as the work calls for it. There is no fixed program length. The engagement is shaped around what you need and where you want to go.

Coaching is not a crisis intervention technique. The professionals who benefit most from working with Michelle are typically high performers functioning well by most external measures who sense there is a gap between where they are and where their full capacity would take them. If you are doing well and ready to do better on your own terms, this work is directly relevant.

Ready to Have a Different Kind of Conversation?

You don't have to know what's next.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
Sometimes what changes things is being open to seeing things differently.
When that happens, choice becomes available. And when choice becomes available, so do new possibilities.
